I have an addiction. Perhaps a problem. I sit in the studio for hours and all I want to do is to make tracks that create an internal feeling of sadness that you are happy to dance to. A constant pull and push between your emotions.

In some overly and perhaps unnecessarily contextual way, bringing those opposite emotions into the same space, I believe creates an energy that you can’t help but relate to.

In many ways, the cycle of love fits in this space. It has that same reactionary energy that can take you from the lowest point to the highest high.

This track started as a chord progression for the lonely side of my brain and ended with the melody that reminds me of good tunes with those I love.

That is the constant cycle of love.

And this is also just a dance record to make people feel something for 4 mins.
